Northern Star Karate has been training students in the traditional Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do since 1982. Our traditional martial arts training builds concentration, confidence, and self esteem. Master instructor James Hull is personally trained by the legendary Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin. He is assisted by eight knowledgeable, welcoming and caring black belt instructors. Our family-friendly programs help make learning martial arts available to everyone, not just the athletically-inclined minority. With programs designed to benefit everyone, regardless of age or fitness level, our students range in age from 5 to 75. Stability and credibility are also what NSK has to deliver. Our affiliation with the World Tang Soo Do Association offers membership in an international community of martial artists. NSK offers great opportunities for those interested in competition.
